Your life is a whirlwind of activity with a list so long that you know it will not be done today.
You plan better.
Have an extra cupa to get you wound up and revved up for the pursuit of the completion of the to do list.
It’s nine o’clock in the morning and you are exhausted just thinking about the list. Who gave it to you anyway?
The kids, the boss, the other half, the grandparents. The list makers seems endless.
Oh yea, don’t forget you added a few items too.
Now, just relax.
You can see everyone around you is working too hard anyway and wearing themselves thin.
Everyone’s patience is at low ebb to be sure.
Why not just stop?
Let it all go for a moment or two.
See what’s really important enough to have you rushing out the door. Perhaps tomorrow is ok. Maybe tomorrow to have it done will be in good time. Perhaps it doesn’t need to be done at all.
Slow down and reduce your blood pressure.
Take the strain off your emotional system.
Let go of the guilt that says you have to perform right now.
Let go of the judgement that says you are not good enough if you don’t do it all today.
The essence of your soul is calmness and knowing.
Let that be your guide.
This is who you are.
