“Gratitude for the seemingly insignificant—a seed—this plants the giant miracle.”  Ann Voskamp

The garden patch is at the height of its growth. The lettuce is sprouting the green onion stalks are reaching for the sky. Regular watering and loving attention has them at their peak.

Yet predators wait on the sidelines to romp in the garden when the owner of the garden is not paying attention.

These pesky little critters are the neighbourhood squirrels that roam freely from garden patch to garden patch.

They don’t leave footprints. You wouldn’t know they’ve been here except that the plants’ shoots look shorter than they did yesterday.

The lettuce leaves have shards torn off so they look shabby and unkempt.

They are happy little squirrels. The food is yummy.  The yard is a beautiful place to hang out.

What romps in your garden? The garden of your life?

Have you tended your emotions well?

Do you take care of your body, mind and soul?

The critters of self pity, guilt, fear and trepidation wait patiently for you to let go and relax your guard so they can come in and munch on your self-confidence and self esteem.

You will want to consider ramping up the attention to your well being. Otherwise the pesky critters will have their way with you.

Your soul’s voice is calling for the dreams of your life to be put into action. You have spoken your heart’s desire so don’t leave your garden untended now.

This is who you are.
