Do you keep your word when you make a promise? Do you lie to have others think more of you than you think of yourself?

Do you embellish the story of your life to have others like you more?

The word you keep is the word of your heart and soul.

It is the substance of who you are.

We tell ourselves it is ok to tell a white lie to make a situation better than it really is.

The problem is it becomes a habit and soon you have forgotten what the white lie was and what the truth is.

If you live by your word then you are your word.

I call this an irrevocable promise. That means you keep your word no matter what.

Will everyone always like it? Probably not

Will it always make others happy? Most likely not.

However if you live by your promise then you live from who you are.

That way you don’t have to make it up.
