We are addicted to stuff.
Our houses are full.
The garage does not have room for a car.
The storage locker won’t hold anymore.
How much stuff do we need?
There is an insatiable appetite for all kinds of stuff with the widest selection at the lowest price.
In our rush to happiness (more stuff) we don’t stop for a breath to see what the heck is going on.
My research shows more stuff does not make us happier.
So what’s all the commotion about getting more?
It seems to me we are trying to fill an emptiness in our hearts in some way.
The good news is you can stop buying more stuff, be still and see what comes up.
When the emptiness is filled with self-compassion then self-love shows up.
Take all of that self -love and embrace it.
This takes time and it takes practice.
But you are worth it.
This is who you are.
